Rubel

Rubel is one of the main names in the new Música Popular Brasileira (MPB). In 2018, he was nominated for the Latin Grammys with the album “Casas”, in the category of “Best rock album or Latin music in Portuguese”. After the edition of this LP, Rubel gave 65 concerts in 51 cities, in Brazil and abroad. The singer, composer and filmmaker from Rio de Janeiro, has edited two albums, “Pearl” (2013) and “Casas” (2018). On YouTube, the video for “Quando Bate Quem Saudade” has already surpassed 30 million views.

Rubel “Casas” in Portugal, an album strongly rooted in MPB without fear of incursions into the parallel universe of hip-hop and contemporary R&B. The disc also includes a theme already known by the general public, “Partilhar”, presented by the artist with voice and guitar in the Sofar Sounds project, and which exceeded 1 million plays.
