Ricardo Ribeiro

The voice "once heard, never forgotten" of Ricardo Ribeiro is one of the unavoidable names of contemporary Fado.

With several gold records, six albums and various awards, Ricardo Ribeiro has performed on stages all over the world: Italy, France, Belgium, Morocco, the United States and Canada, Austria, England, Russia, Iran, Jordan, Mexico, France, Spain, Finland, among others.

In 2023 he releases Terra Que Vale O Céu [Earth that is worth the Sky] on October 27, album that marks the return of Ricardo Ribeiro to Fado after a journey through world music with his 2019 Respeitosa Mente [word game with the words respectfully/respectful mind]. In this new record, he reinterprets some known Fados like Acácio, Azenha and Franklim and sings verses and melodies from notable Portuguese lyricists and musicians like Fernando Tordo, Amélia Muge, Maria do Rosário Pedreira, Nuno Júdice e Carminho. Another highlight goes to his new single, Vira-Voltas [Twist and turn], one of the songs composed by the singer himself.

Now, the Fado singer takes the stage for another unique concert, accompanied by José Manuel Neto on the Portuguese guitar, Carlos Manuel Proença on the fado guitar, and Didi Pinto on bass.
