Francisco M. Pereira (Kasha), Miguel Coimbra and Miguel Cristovinho are the core of this Lisbon band, well known for its catchy songs, audience interaction and energetic live performances. They celebrated 10 years filled with hits, which were remembered in their album live from Castelo São Jorge, including songs like Às Vezes [Sometimes], Oquelávai [What goes around], Não Dá [It's Not Working], Era Eu [It Was Me] and Balada do Desajeitado [Clumsy's Ballad].
They hit platinum with their first record, Uma Questão de Princípio [A Matter of Principle] (2014). Besides that, this album was in 1st place on the National Sales Top for 22 weeks. This album gave us iconic singles like Luísa and the before-mentioned Balada do Desajeitado and Às Vezes.
D.A.M.A sold out Campo Pequeno in the beginning of 2018 presenting their album Lado a Lado [Side by Side], from which are the songs Oquelávai, Nasty and Era Eu. In 2020 they edited Sozinhos à Chuva [Alone in the Rain], the fourth album of originals. This record has features with other great national renowned artista like Ivandro, Bárbara Bandeira and Carolina Deslandes.
In 2022 they released Casa [House] with Buba Espinho, that is an ode to Alentejo and has a magnificent video recorded in the region and is already three times platinum. In 2023, before their 3 concerts in the coliseums of Oporto and Lisbon with Buba Espinho and their Alentejo Frieds, the band releases Loucamente [Crazily] featuring Los Romeros, an interpretation of the song by the same name from Ódio & Mel that gained them one platinum. These two songs are part of their newest EP Canções Bonitas em Português - Vol. I [Beautiful Songs in Portuguese - Vol. I], an ode to Portugal and especially to Alentejo. It features more collaborations with Buba Espinho and Bandidos do Cante, as well as a cover of Menina Estás à Janela [Lady you are by the window] with Vitorino himself. Their most recent single from this EP is Mãe [Mother], a thank you for all mothers.
